Julie Cosa - Nurse Practitioner

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health, Julie was a Bachelor prepared Registered Nurse spending the majority of her nine-year nursing career as an intensive care nurse in multiple critical care areas. Her greatest love was working with critically ill newborn babies in the Newborn ICU.

While working so closely with these babies and their mother’s, Julie was inspired to return to school and pursue her Master’s Degree in Nursing, specializing in Women’s Health.  After years of seeing the result of poor pre-natal care, Julie felt that some of the unfortunate outcomes in her newborn ICU could have been prevented with better prenatal care and education for the expectant mothers.

As a Masters Prepared Nurse Practitioner, Julie is dedicated to providing quality care and education to help inform and empower women about best possible treatment options in order to best manage their own personal health and the health of their babies.

Julie is excited to be a part of Pinnacle Women’s Center and work closely with her patients to ensure they receive the best possible care.
